2011 has been such a roller-coaster ride, filled with emotions..

I've met so many people, learned so much from the working society.. Survived through 6 months of internship; graduated with a dip; met another awesome boss and continued working a fair bit in the events industry; got accepted by a few organisations as a full time employee; chose my choice of career; met awesome friends during training; learned so much about the banking industry; met wonderful colleagues and customers; went on a holiday with b; grew closer to my mum; made big plans for travel & career 2012...

Hell of a year, full of ups and downs but i'm happy that through it all i've learnt so much and grew a lot more.. In terms of my knowledge & vertically as well X.X Even my hair parting is different now, it's center parting now! HAHA!

I'm contented and happy to be myself, not living in someone else's shadows..

I can't predict what's gonna happen in 2012, there may be upsetting events or happy events but i know that im gonna rock on .... Move on with my life, learn as much as i can & live everyday as its' my last!!!

WE SHOULD ALL LIVE EVERYDAY AS OUR LAST!!

It's kinda strange how i'm staring at my lappie with all my photos uploaded on my blogger and i'm thinking how to start the ball rolling......

It's been 3 months since you last heard from me and i'm back now, a round of applause please?!
What's happening in my life, you ask?

Well, oms noms noms non stop, grew fatter until i feel so emo..
Lack of sleep, eyes shrinking.
Grumble every minute, grumpy max.
Met some pretty awesome people, became good friends with them.
Watched vampire diaries S3, still waiting for new episodes.
Very happy, i refuse to tie my hair (inside joke).

GOT MARRIED. WENT FOR A HONEYMOON.

We're flying......... flying outta singapore!

Yes i know i look pretty adorable, thank you very much! (Just kidding =.=)

We did the most nonsensical thing for 2 hours and we've reached!

A very, very dramatic hooha at the airport with Villas Indonesia because they were too engaged in selling us packages and all we could bother was to reach our resort asap already.
Super irritated for the fact that we waited 30 minutes for our passes + another 30 minutes waiting for another couple 'whom were heading for Kamuela as well". Needless to say, this couple does not exist and we showed our Singapore spirit of complaining. Finally, someone came to pick us up. Oh boy was i worried that the chauffeur would bring us to somewhere else instead of our destined resort because the representatives from VI were so so too horrible!!

45 minutes of jam-packed road conditions and we FINALLY arrived at Kamuela!

Reception lobby, where we were greeted with friendly smiles, chilled towel for the hot weather, refreshing welcome drinks & a very grand and polished facade.

After acknowledging the nitty gritty details - the usual stuff, front desk personnel brought us to our room! I could feel the excitement already!

Our room viewed from the door.... The bright area at the top right is our balcony, where our private jacuzzi lies... Amazing.

The king size bed, HAHAHA! I had lotsa fun destroying the neat setting of the bed.... (Now i feel guilty for the housekeeping reps....Opps!)

Our balcony! Where the Jacuzzi lies...... AWESOME OR WHAT!? Our room was at the second level so you could walk out of the balcony into the garden and do whatever you like there..... Nobody sees a thing... its' really private - i danced there...... & i'm glad nobody has to see me dance... HAHA

They're pretty awesome for late nights! or days when you're at foreign land, famished and not a penny left...

Bathroom! Defo bigger than what you think..... Bath tub's in one room, shower tap is in another..

We settled down, went for a walk in town and came back for romantic dinner by the pool.....

Couldn't be bothered with taking pictures of the rest of the courses for i was so into their food. I remember i tweeted pictures of all the courses so yea...... go see my twitter!

After a hearty dinner, we came back and jacuzzi-ed! SHIOKNESS!

That sums up our first night, time seems to pass by within minutes when you're enjoying yourself....hmm...

Second day, i woke up feeling especially playful so......

i jumped up and down wahahahah.

Decided to head to the beach! Some kids drawing at the lounge...

the beach was very long so we spent a mere 1 hour walking from one stretch to the other making amazing discoveries...

then we stumbled upon this hotel situated right on the beach... It's built on the beach so the guests could just walk out of their rooms to the beach within like 2 minutes.. AWESOME OR WHAT?

Kinda amazing looking at the people, of shapes and sizes and colors.. HAHA

Wanted to sit on those swings but never had the chance because we were too full from lunch before..

So, the whole beach was filled with at least 5 countable hotels all settled side by side..
Kinda amazing... and pretty funny..
Imagine RWS, MBS, Ritz Calton & Four Seasons are located next to one another...

Too bored of walking we played chess. HAHA

Then we went back to our hotel room, get suited up in our swimming attire, jumped into the pool while enjoying ice cream at the same time...

Got called up by the spa personnel reminding us on our spa booking so we headed for some 3 hours of facial + massage spa rightafter.

I'm so missing the days here.... SIGH

Sumptuous meal for dinz, we called for room service.

PURE HEAVEN. SHIOK.

So at the end of the day, do you trust now that i got married? And went for honeymoon?

LOL Smart if you take my words on the latter, not so clever if you believe that i got married.

It's a joke, a JOKE. Get it?

I was invited to Chic Party 2011 held at Club Avatar on 16 July 2011. I believe that by now you would have easily guessed the theme of the party: Masquerade. Think Phantom of the Opera! Boy was i filled with excitement to be invited to the chic party! It was a closed door event. =>

My press pass entitled me to tour around the event and venture backstage to have a look at how the ladies were doing!

All house pours / cocktails were on the house so invitees had the privilege to drink to their hearts' content!

I had the liberty to put on this beautiful mask all thanks to my babygirl Sheila. :>

Princess Mimi / Bambi Sesame lens

I can't really help myself though, i love blogging - just like how much i love eating! It's no wonder that i look bloated all the time #FML

Before you scroll down, i'd say this first:

Lately, i've been into cosmetics contact lens. I've tried EOS flower series lens (which tore before i could do a review on it, sadly); freshkon; encore and bambi lens - which is what this post is about!!

Based in korea, Geo Medical Pte Ltd. offers an astonishing wide range of cosmetic lens for vainpots like me! The lenses are yearly but it's advisable that you should dump them after 6 months (especially if you are not disciplined in caring for your lenses)

*If you intend to purchase the lenses online, beware of counterfeits that blogshop may be selling. Remember to do sufficient homework and a thorough background search on the blogshop for its credibility.*

The specific pair of lens i'm touching on today: Geo Princess Mimi / Bambi in SESAME GREY.

The diameter is mega fricking huge! It's a 15mm lens! I figured i can't wear it everyday because if i do, imma look ultra mega weird with smaller eyes! Damn it!! (My pupil is about 14mm only T.T)

In case you can't tell that it's megafrickingultra huge, this is a close-up! Scary aint' it? HAHAHA

The center color of the lenses when worn really depends on your original pupil color, mine's totally pure black but it looks like brown here all thanks to my camera flash :]

Zoomed in all the way for you guys, why am i so nice HAHA :D This is my lefty eye taken with flash, please be appreciative i almost went blind with the flash shooting on my eye so closely T.T

One more self-shot, 难得 i look like 大眼妹! ( i don't have big doll eyes often so i gotta take more pictures tsk tsk. )

i know right, such a huge difference! Make up does wonders!

So anyway, here's my take on the contact lens:

In terms of appearance wise, i'm truly in love with it (Y)!

WHY??!

1) It enhances your pupil with its 15mm diameter creating a dolly look which everyone can have!

2) The inner brown circle makes the lens color a tad more natural because it doesn't have a very sharp contrast with your original color.

3) The sesame grey color isn't too light/neon thus you won't go around shocking everyone with it ^^

As for comfort wise, i would rate it higher than encore colors (definitely) & freshkon sesame grey. With my freshkon pair, there is always a little spot of blurry vision which makes my vision not entirely clear.

When i first wore this pair of bambi lens, i was amazed at it's comfort level. It felt like i was wearing invisible lenses (yes, it's so comfortable i felt like i was wearing invisible lenses!)

One word, LOVE.

I'M LOVIN' IT!

I forsee myself wearing it pretty often for outings/ events because it's really prettyyyy and it can last me for around 6 months! If you have tried it before, please comment and let me know how is it!!!!

Remember, develop a good habit of washing your lenses carefully & thoroughly after every use. Don't be lazy just for this once and regret forever !!

Lastly, if you're gonna purchase your geo lens online please check the authenticity of every lens before you wear it :D

Wassup guys?! I hope you had an awesome week!

Days ago, i attended a short outing with my polytechnic clique :D I'm still in total disbelief that 3 years had passed and it's now almost half a year since I've graduated.

I've came across too many grumbles from my friends / mentors/ seniors that 'Working life sucks. Schooling is sooooooooooo much better! ' and i'd never understand why.

BUT!

BUT i understand now !!!! I FEEL YOU OLs!

I FEEL YOUUUUUUUU!

NAO I CAN'T AGREE MORE T.T

I MISS SCHOOL.

(now the word SCHOOL seems so colorful because it's far away T.T #FML)

I miss doing tutorials, i miss teasing one another, i miss presenting our bravo projects and i miss my lecturers!

Above all, I'll MISS MY FRIENDS!

Sigh!

Thankfully we had this gathering so i could do some little catch-up with their lives.

Times like this call for something engaging and interesting enough to satisfy our overflowing desires.

And true enough, we went to a Settler's cafe! (As the name suggests, it's a place for us to settle down, grab a bite or two &; chill out!

We had the option to select from an extensive range of board games, boy am i happy that we chose 2 perfect games!

Isn't it wonderful? I love falsies and i use them pretty often due to the strong dislike for washing off mascara at the end of the day. Kudos to you if you're like me! I hate removing mascaras as they would often cling onto my skin for so long / they would be hidden within my real eyelashes which makes discovering them a chore. T.T

I'm right on the dot! Exactly at 12AM SHARP July 2! :)

Our plan for a morning session of swimming was cancelled due to the long lasting rain which lasted for a night. ): I begrudingly agreed to catch a movie instead since i was totally helpless ):

Couldn't help but exclaimed:

"WHY EVERYTIME I WANNA GO SWIMMING IT WILL RAIN?! WHY!?!!! ? >: (As i'm typing this, i realised last thursday it didn't rain but i couldnt have gone swimming too :< Mother nature knocked on my door! Sadded X 10000 times! I wish next week i'll get to swim!

Back to my story, we caught Green Lantern the waste-my-money movie. Looks like the movie reviewers are doing their job pretty well, the movie deserves its lousy rating. of 2/5. Mr Popper's a million times better i promise :D

I can't express enough how much i love this shot! It's so vintagy and classy.

This calls for some touching up. Annoying curly roots coming up! >:

Display outside PS. They gmasked the cameras purely for exhibition! Me love the leopard & the gold ones! :D

We proceeded to Joaquim @ Suntec for buffet dinner. Food wasn't fabulous but there was a comparably wide range of cooked food for selection. Like... Popiah, Rojak, Mee Soto etc.

This was only 1/3 of what i ate !

WHY I MUST EAT SO MUCH *Angry* LOL

There was a 'Seafood' section whereby we could choose our own ingredients to be cooked by the chef. There's crab, clams etc. I loved the clams so much that i took too much that i could handle. Like 3 bowls full of prawns and clams.. So towards the end i was so bloated that i thought i was gonna explode. And then i was very remorseful and i regretted taking so much food so i promised not to eat buffet for the next 6 months. :> Too much food, too stressful for my poor body :<

Next to Carrefour for some groceries shopping! :D

Missing my eos lens :< The other day i took off my lens but i pinched too hard that it tore. >: And that was my 3rd day of wearing it only #fml So now there's only 1 side intact the other damaged hence i cant' wear it anymore. Sigh sigh. Anyone knows any website (reliable) that i can order my eos lens from? I want my flower lens! *cries*

We went to the ZOO!

Rise and shine! A bright Thursday morning filled with exhilaration! We hopped onto the bus and before we know it, we were on our way to a whole lot of adventure and exploration!

Albeit a teeny weeny packed, the bus ride was smooth and fast! Boy were we shocked when we arrived at our destination in 15 minutes!

And here, i'll start the ball rolling with these hand-picked pictures from a selection of almost 200 pictures! Exaggerating? Not at all! Who could have resisted the strong urge to snap down the adorable little creatures, the smell of the nature and the thrill of making new discoveries? It certainly can't be us!

An adorable vintage looking sling bag above my little Bonia! I can't wait to get on my way to bkk for more of these bags! I make a request to fast forward my life through 2012 now!

So, we look alike? That isn't an unusual comment, we get that all the time! We are lucky!

The temptation to sink our teeth into a heaven of chewy; gluey; milky and cold B&J under the scorching sun was too strong. We, for sure couldn't resist it!

Cranberry Volka, Lots of camwhore, music so loud that my ear drums almost flew out (nahh just kidding but it was really loud!), music so horrible that i wanted to cry. LOL there was this new girl band Blush, apparently they were winners of a particular international contest and they came from different countries in Asia. There's Philippines, Japan, Korean and India. They looked funky and reallyy hot but i'm not such a fan because i feel that they sound like they were screaming throughout the few minutes (which seemed like forever) trying to impress everyone but it backfired. It's like i could tell from the audience's body language that they were kinda annoyed by the 'live' singing by Blush. So... yea. quite traumatizing. The story of Lexi

One day....

Lexi decided to bug her mum to bring her for a swim...

Her mum refused to, and told her that she wasn't big enough to withstand the water pressure..

Instead, mummy wanted to bring her to the playground to play!

Although Lexi didn't want to go to the playground, she didn't want to disobey her mum so she begrudgingly agreed.

After 10 minutes....

Bored and annoyed Lexi #fhl decided to walk to the field in search of an activity more interesting, and fun.

......

....

On her way there....

......

She saw..........

.........

......

.....

....

...

A...

.....

A drain...

Without second thoughts, she opened the cover of the drain and jumped inside! *Hooray i can haz water to play nao!!! It's gonna be hella awesome fun!

...

But...

Little did she know that the water was smelly...

Dirty...

Infested with algae...

and definitely too much for her to handle ....

Needless to mention, Lexi fell into a coma.

After 10 minutes, her mum realised she was missing and she went in a frantic search for her. She was so worried, so afraid that Lexi would meet with a mishap.

Her worry hasn't been plain, indeed she found Lexi in the drain filled with stinky smelly dirty disgusting water!

IN TOTAL SHOCK, She panicked for 10 seconds, screamed, hopped around and cried for help.

*HELP ME LEXI PLSSS!! SHE'S DYING INSIDE!!! PLSS ANYONE??!!"

Finally, after much screaming in a panic mode.

"Hey you okay?"

"NO! PLSS SAVE MY DAUGHTER!" *points to the drain*

"Oh gosh! Why she play with dirty water?! Eewwww. You didn't bring her to swimming pool?" *Chuckles*

"HELLO! NOT FUNNY! MY DAUGHTER IS DYING PLSS SAVE HER NAOO! "

"Okay. I'm sorry. I will save her nao. Please calm down."

"HOW TO CALM DOWN ONE? MY PRECIOUS IS INSIDE!"

Stranger used a random newspaper and took Lexi out. Mummy hurriedly used a towel to clean Lexi up. She tried to wake her up, she did (fortunately).

"BABY ARE YOU OKAY?"

Lexi stares at her with wide-opened eyes but did not respond...

"BABY ARE YOU OKAY?"

No response. 2 seconds later, Lexi started showing weird actions with her hands. And she used her hands to signal that she couldn't hear mum at all.

"BABY! I'LL BRING YOU TO A PLACE TO REST FIRST!"

They walked to the nearest bench and rested. Whilst Mum panicked. And tweeted.

After the rest, mummy brought her home. She did not bring her to the doctors. Truth is, mummy was to poor she couldn't even afford swimming pool entrance ticket of $3 how could she afford the doctors??

At home, Lexi fell into a deep,deep,deep sleep.

She started dreaming........

Black Salon's Dinner 2011!

I could have already settled this entry way before the time now (fyi, 2.34AM just nice 2,3,4! ) if i wasn't too engrossed reading random blogs. Interesting. I'd bet the best advantage of a blog is that it adds a personal touch to your readers. it's all about personal little things of each individual and i see it as a platform to interact with your reader (simply, to deepen your understanding and satisfy your curiosity to the blog owner! Tell me, am i not wrong? :D)

Last week, i tagged along with Wennhan to his company's dinner. (I know right, so shamless?! Not even married yet i always follow him around.?! But hey! there's always a reason behind every action! Like for this... I didn't want to tag along. His Thursday was supposed to be mine. mine alone. I specially took an off for him because i thought he wanted to go to the zoo (whuuttt?! don't judge! Zoo is fun!!) and when i found out he wasn't able to come to the zoo with me because of his dinner.....

more like displeased actually..

The hairstylist in the middle with the grey scarf cuts my hair for me! He's a nice ..... sister! :D (if you get what i mean tsk.)

So yea.. we ordered beer and white wine.. like 2 bottles of white wine and 9 bottles of beer? I just kept eating and drinking - too low profile that they didn't realise i was one of the few who drank the most. Lol. I drank like 3 glasses of beer + 2 glasses of white wine + 1 glass of beer they sorta 'forced' me to down.

The 2 glasses of Chardonnay was Wennhan's, but since he developed rashes at the 2nd glass i demanded him to stop drinking. And when Meiling challenged me to a full glass of beer, he was like "you okay or not? I help you drink lah. You gotta drink all you know?! You sure you okay?!" He was taken aback by my reply " No problem lah, lol. i can hold my liquor quite well......... " He was in total disbelief until i finished the whole glass of beer in front of him, at one go.

( I felt like some 大姐大 helping her 大佬 settle his triad issues. You know, like those typical hongie gangster's show? Nice, i loikeeee! Would be nice with some 'fake' tattoos as well.)

This is Meiling, we are the 'goats' - chinese zodiac .. Boy was i stunned when she revealed her age to me! She looks way too young for her age ! :D

Reunion Dinner with boyfriend's family

Thanks to my dears who texted/email/called me and showed me concern after reading my last post! I'm strong as a bull now! Although my sore throat is still lingering around ): Sigh.

So as my title suggests, i went for a somewhat 'reunion' dinner with my boyfriend's family last last week? It wasn't any special occasion we were celebrating, we merely sat down and had a simple dinner together! Which is quite rare because boyfriend's elder brother doesn't stay with them anymore.... and his younger brother studies at Indonesia and seldom come back due to his self-proclaimed 'projects' (which we all feel are excuses for not wanting to come back, maybe he doesn't wanna see me HAHA)

We went to this hawker stall at farrerpark which serves authentic PU TIAN food at a super reasonable price!

Me & Boyfriend. OKAY SHHH I know i gained weight already i'm diligently killing these extra calories now okay! Climbling 12 stories of stairs everyday! 2 meals per day only! IDW to be fat kill me please! :/

No pictures of food because i was famished i could only concentrate on eating once the dishes were served! :d Especially like the oyster egg there tho!! :D

Check out boyfriend's cute face! Have you watched fruit basket the anime? haha I always tell him he resemble the character 'JIA JIA' in the anime, the cat with orange hair one! Especially so when he smile with all features concentrated in the centre hahahah mad funny! See!

Hi guys! I shall attempt to update this space using my invincible iPhone and the amazon photobucket iPhone app since I'm at work but I've got nothing to do!

Update: 0109 19/05 - Not that i love procrastinating but i'm quite unlucky that photobucket decided to fix their server just when i have ample free time to update this pathetic post... So i waited from 10pm to 11pm and checked again and #fml the pictures still didnt' show at all.. and i went to put on my facial mask and fell asleep for 1 hour and i woke up in shock at 12am when babyboy called. Thinking that the maintainence should have been completed already i tried to log on again but to my horror it still didn't load ); and i was like....

Major #fml.

And that i went to whinelikeawhinnyandspoiltbrat to my boyfriend and checked back at 1250..

Guess whuutt?!! Server's up again!? Hooray :) Canyoufeelhowsincereiam? :D

So.... this is how it all started....

I think i don't have to say where we did it and you could have easily guessed it from this picture!

After getting rid of my dead skins and whatsnot, Cindy filled up my real nails with fake nails! First, she put on the nail stickers to ensure that the acrylic doesn't set in and stick to my flesh... Then, the fake nails. Initially I thought they'd use those ready-made packaging acrylic nails to glue it onto your real nail, after-which they shape/file it to fit your fingers. But, no! That wasn't what she did. She used a brush and dipped it into this liquid which has an overwhelming and intoxicating smell i almost suffocated =.=" (heh heh, actually not so 夸张lah!) After dipping, she used the wet brush and dipped it into a bottle of powder, she did some hand movements while the brush was inside (ya' know, the stirring movement) and then hurriedly took out the brush and spread it on my nail. After 2 minutes, the fake nail hardened and this was how it looked like:

I was so amazed HAHAH why am i so SUA KU? You can laugh at me all you want while i admire my nails in one corner. #hahahaforeveralone.

I love the mirror so girly so princessy very suitable for ~~dumpster~~ princess like me. (HAHA inside joke with JUU) After she shaped my fake nails, i couldn't take it I pleaded to go to the washroom. You know why?

Drink a LARGE cup of 豆cafe & you will know why. :)

By the way, do you know that that the name of this bubble tea kiosk is called 豆cafe not KOI cafe? #ikidyounot My boyfriend told me this before it even became popular. (Like during the #foreveralone Toa Payoh outlet times.) The owner wanted to display some creativity in the otherwise boring design so he tilted the word 豆 to the right which misled people into thinking that it's KOI because it's so easily mis-interpreted as KOI and in the end everyone starting trending #iwantkoi!

Disclaimer: My boyfriend shared this with me, i don't know how true it is but he claims that the staff at tpy told him! I don't know if you gonna believe (doesn't bother me also hahaha) but i 100% believe because it is so logical and yes, because i believe he won't lie to me (HAHA #thepoweroflove)

So while i was in the toilet i had to take picture of my newborn nails! I didn't ask her to extend it really long because it's my first time doing #suaku and i'm afraid it's gonna hinder my movement and all!

I chose gradient black with glitters! This was the outcome without the nailart!

Yaay to JU because i'm done with one hand! mad thrilled and filled with love! :D

Can you believe she's a professional emcee? she is so good i almost wanted to #digaholeandhide when i realised she was doing the VOs for Lexus event. I wanted to #digaholeandhide because she's so talented i felt so ashamed of myself! #fml

The nailart design she chose! The set of nails on the top! Dont' you think they are so thoughtful? They even framed up their nail designs with CD cases and pasted cutesy stickers all over it. Being a frequent medi/pedi girl, JUU told me she hasn't spot this anywhere else yet! They slot all these CD cases in a basket so when we went, Cindy brought 4 baskets to us which got us thinking "what the hell she doing?!". It was until we saw the contains we couldn't stop admiring and saying "so pretty!". so thoughtful and pretty they motivate me to do another scrapbook for boyfriend ://

The Singapore World Cup (in other words, GE) officially ended 10 minutes ago. Oh Gosh the reporters/TV crew were really long-winded, half the time they were either busy repeating what had already been said or busy killing time with their interviews and whatsnot.

First and most importantly,

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE MUMS OUT THERE!

May you be young, old, fat, skinny, chinese, malay, indian or eurasian (or anything other race) happy mother's day to you! It's your day! Please enjoy yourself blissfully and throw all your troubles away for 24 hours!

Especially, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO MY DEAREST/ BELOVED NOBLE MUM!

Shes' the MOST NOBLE AND BRAVE woman in the world! The MOST AWESOME mum in the world! and.. The SWEETEST and NICEST lady in the world!

I vividly remember how bad the situation was 11 years ago. When my dad just passed away, the former housewife who'd never stepped out of house to work since marriage became her life. Since her family became her life. She had to take on my father's passing courageously, hide all her sorrows within and raise the 4 of us up. If you think it's easy, think again and again and again. What would you do if your husband/wife abandon you one day? and your youngest child was only 2 years old? Eldest was only 13 years old? when you have never ever worked all the while after marriage/? And you gotta start searching for job/learning to cope with the stress at the same time ensuring your 4 kids go to school punctually; doesn't get bullied in school; studies hard; eat well and properly; doesn't mix with the wrong crowd and lastly ensuring you have sufficient funds for 4 of them for their studies? No doubt it had been a long and tiring road for her, many times i've seen her crying alone at night; grieving over the passing of my dad; feeling bad for not being able to provide us with the best of the best? My mum had always been the one scarifying her sleep; her meals; her money for us and she puts us on the first place in her heart.

If i'm gonna say everything that she'd done for me; for us; for this family.. it would be at least 20 pages worth of words... As much as i would like my blog to be personal for my readers to get an insight into my life, i wouldn't like to spill the beans on everything. Needless to say something as super personal as this. Please just know that i love my mum more than anyone else in the world. There may be times i choose to defy her instructions and she'll just dismiss the matter with her countless nagging, ultimately she's still the only person who loves me the most; cares for me the most. Nobody can ever substitute the position she holds in my heart, not even Wennhan, not even my best friend. Shes' the best gift i received from God and i thank him for giving me just a wonderful and selfless mum. My mum rulezzz and i want to be with her forever. God, please protect this strong lady and allow her to live till a long ripe age. She has been suffering too much, please just be kind and be nice to just a kind and nice person like her. I'd be grateful to you for a lifetime. <3

So, what have you guys been up to? I must say i spent a bomb these few days on food, clothes, shoes and nails.. I'm feeling a little frightened now that i'll wake up one day with a $0.000SGD in my bank account balance! As usual, with every con that lies a pro. So the good thing is i got to spend time with Julianna and i got to display my ever too excessive vanity. Pretty clothes, pretty shorts, gorgeous heels, super 'chio' nails! :)

And I have been thinking of creating a formspring for a while now....

Lexus Progressive Luxury Experience '11

So i spent my labour day PH standing in as a labour for Lexus.

Lexus officially launched their range of hybrid cars (specifically c200h) last Friday.

Initially i was a replacement for a girl who couldn't work that day, then i was asked to worked for all 4 days. All thanks to Cindy i got this job!

I was quite displeased at the end of our first day due to stress and i was so so so lethargic. My forearms were aching due to the ipad (with leather pouch) that i had to hold for 12 hours. I could feel my back playing defiant, asking me to sit still and not work anymore. Still, i endured. Until the 3rd day my body could take it no more i had to take an MC. That's a price of a fossil wallet gone ).=.

We officially ended the event on Monday, labour day! It was so fun working with the new friends i met! I was especially close to 2 of them and they are so cool! Totally made my tired day a whole lot better ! :)

Hey guys, how is it coming?!

Just ended an event for Lexus tonight, i am extremely exhausted now!

Work was so fun with the lovely girlies i met! Was sick on Sunday hence i didnt work but when i went to work today (or should i say yesterday?) I was really surprised when the girls told me there will be 1.5x pay for Labour day! Though i didn't really mind in the end (because i decided to continue working for the fun girls there!), boy was i happy pay was increased! :)

I'm just gonna consolidate pictures lying around everyone's cammies before i do a post on that.

Ever wondered what's in my handbag?

A friend introduced Stage to me recently, and i loved it! She told me they were having a closing down sale! and i went to check it out! Boy was i glad i went!

Award winning foundation and concealer! Dubbed 'CLEO most recommended Foundation!'

1) Picture Perfect Foundation - 05 Diva

I'm sure it will shock you!

The foundation was on a sale of 2 for $19SGD only! That makes it less than $10 per tube? @ #OMGsocheap!

If you are not a fan of thick coverage foundation, you would like this! Its thin yet good coverage provides a fresh-looking and brighter face once it's on!

I'd totally recommend this if you're just looking for a foundation to brighten up your otherwise dull face. It feels a little like make-up base to me because of the lightweight; almost non existent feeling it gives.

2) Picture Perfect Liquid Camouflage -06 Genie Temptress (2 for $9SGD!! @ #OMGsocheap!)

The concealer which is comparable to my Dior. I usually need concealer only to cover my eye bags/circles as i have really deep eye bags due to late nights. This product covers my eye bags nicely without overdo-ing it. With the right amount used, it brightens my eye area at the same time maintain the natural look.

3) SANA make up base

SANA is unquestionably my favorite skincare brand from Japan! This series of makeup from them (Pore Putty) offers products which are affordable and good! I have been using this make up base for close to 4 years already. It doesn't only brighten my face & freshen my look, it has a good coverage as well! It conceals my little pimples and nose canal :) I'll usually use either this or the stage foundation as the base of my basic make up.

4) Red Earth Concealer

Does its job well as an eye corrector. It's specially effective on my eye bags/circles. Other than that, i think it's just useless on other areas. It's a little tad too watery and the smell is quite overwhelming to handle actually. This is my back-up concealer for my eyes.

5) Ralph Lauren Romance - Always yours

6) Bobbi Brown Blusher/Bronzer

7) E.L.F studio blusher brush

It's my favorite blusher of all times! E.L.F makes amazing studio brushes! It's really cheap and soft brush which glides on easily!

8) NYX lipstick in Indiana Pink

9) NYX lipstick in Snow White

I adore NYX lippies! I got them at $5 each and they are too good for its price! The lippie isn't too dry, isn't too oily and the color stays for pretty long (like 5 hours?) I use Indiana Pink as my 'natural lip color' and Snow White for the red classic look.

10) Etude house Lip Gloss in Matte Pink

I am in love with the color as it appears nude with a tint of pink on my lip - just the right tone i require for natural make up! The gloss isn't too sticky/oily so it's easy for application. The only side-back is that it doesn't stay long enough for a dinner and i gotta touch up every 2 hours. (Then again, lipgloss isn't as lasting as lipstick so it can't be blamed.)

That sums up my basic make up products!

All of the above mentioned are solely my own opinions on the products, you may feel otherwise because all of us have different skin types.

I strongly encourage you girlies to drop by stage sometime to check out their closing down sales. Their products are pretty satisfying!

Like I've been saying/whinning for so long now, babyboy and I are still deciding on the location for our leisure trip in May/June. I'm ditching Bangkok as an option because i heard it's a pretty bad season to go when their fashion scene currently is in a mess and everything else.

Perhaps Hong Kong? I honestly get hyped up thinking about the chinese dim-sums and tarts i can wake up to... and yes, lots of shopping for a shopaholic like me too :)

We're comtemplating between Thailand, Bali and Hongkong (He wants to go bangkok tho). any ideas on how and where we can get cheap deals?

So as i typed the last word half an hour ago (my attention span is so short-lived), i found something amazing! Now I feel extremely lucky today because i chanced upon dealysg and here's what i found!

Hokay, the best part is......................................................................

Its' 3 days 2 nights for $155SGD Nett? Originally priced at $444 per pax? (What an unlucky number tho!) That's around $50 per night on average, including air tickets!!!!!! For a 4 star hotel!!!? This is driving me insane, how can it be so affordable?!!!!! I wanna book the e vouchers right now pretty plzzzzz..! (There's only 19hours left for me to purchase it oh gosh! I am calling my sleephead boyfriend to ask him NAOOOO)

I am so excited now! Imagine us staying in this posh hotel..... seems like there's a shopping mall below the hotel (shopping, food, accommodation all settled within 100 metres WOW)

And we get to stopover the theme parks too!!!!! I wanna try the roller coaster ride! Or perhaps the twin tower looking rides will be good too, i wanna feel the thrill of taking a ride which plummets a few metres down from the skyyyyy..

But wait a minute, i just saw TODAY'S DEALS!

WHAT?! 5 STAR HOTEL AT CHIANG MAI????????! $165?!!!!!!!!

I wish to take some time off to chill and relax by the beach..... A place i can just bring my novels along, order a cup of sizzling hot coffee and while my time away! The all-inclusive packages has got spa/facial covered too! This seems like the perfect destination for me! :(

The hotel's so posh it looks so cozy, it must be wonderful staying here..........Breakfast included as well, i am hungry now thinking of FOOD!
I somehow have decided...... I shall bug babyboy and sell chiang mai to him <; I wanna gooo it's so afforable i wish i can fly now :(

I really wish i can go ): I have been dating him for 4 years now and it's so depressing to think that i haven't been on any overseas trip with him ! We really need to make this happen ! :)

Before i finally decided..

How are curly locks on me? It wasn't that kind of curly i wanted. I wanted the wild look with curls starting from the roots... This is temporary though, Wennhan just curled it up for me. Puffy eyes, deep eyebags due to my contact lens & my screwed up body clock. I haven't been sleeping well these few days!
